How to service the timing chain?

①Check the elongation of the timing chain. Use spring scale to measure the chain elongation in three or more special chain places of the chain, and if it exceeds the use limit, it should be replaced. ② Check the wear amount of camshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket with vernier caliper. If it exceeds the use limit of pet chain, the chain should be replaced or two years sprocket. ③Inspect the thickness of the chain tensioning device (zipper) and the thickness of the vibration buffer (chain damper) with vernier calipers. If it is less than the use limit, it should be replaced. ④The timing chain will be elongated, worn, cracked, peeled and broken after using for a long time, if there is any of the above damage, it should not be used anymore and should be replaced.
